A chance to make your views on the proposals known

Consultation on the proposals takes place between 2nd and 30th January 2009

In 2006, Urban Practioners, a consultancy firm employed by the City Council, completed work on the 'vision' for Frankley.   The City Council has recently undertaken a first stage feasibility study to consider some of the outcomes of the 'visioning' exercise and has produced a set of draft proposals for the possible refurbishment of the Holly Hill shopping centre including bringing forward environmental enhancements to create an integrated local centre for Frankley.

Last year, a City Architect consulted with local people and this first stage draft study has been developed taking into account many of their suggestions. The City Council would now like to obtain your views on the current document before progressing to developing the detailed designs.  

A copy of the full draft proposals will be available throughout January 2009 for viewing and comment at the following locations -

• New Frankley in Birmingham Parish Council offices;
• Frankley Community Library; and
• Frankley Church Community Project offices.

A summary of the options is also available for viewing on the Parish Council’s website together with a copy of the comments forms and your comments would be welcomed on the proposals.  

The deadline for completion of the consultation is Friday the 30th January 2009.
