Fun and Games in the Great Park

Has Christmas come early this year? It did at the Great Park, Rubery on the 9th December when Santa arrived at the back of Hollywood Bowl greeting children with Selection boxes donated from Morrisons.

This amazing Fun day organised by PSCO Natasha Gardner and SC Sean Gilsh-Malkin and their team of Santa's       little Helpers, the rest of Longbridge Neighbourhood Team came together with The Factory Youth Center,   Frankley Carnival Commitee, Northfield Fire Brigade, Digbeth Trust and Santiago Sting Football Club.

We also had the support from the local businesses of the Great Park such as Hollywood Bowl, Chiquitos, Empire Cinema, The Great Park Public House, Nuffield Gym and Morrisons who all donated gifts for our raffle or helped provide refreshments.

We had live music from three different bands from the young people from The factory and Valma Merrick from Hollymoor Way Church, there were arts, crafts, a raffle and food and drinks provided. Everyone involved offered their services for FREE in aid of supporting Acorns Childrens Charity and we raised £420!!

Amazing! A BIG Thankyou to everyone involved. Until next time, Merry Christmas and look out for us all next year were its going to be bigger, better and hopefully in the summer!
