You can use this service to:

  • get on the electoral register so you can vote in elections and referendums in the UK
  • opt out of the ‘open’ register – the version of the electoral register that’s available for anyone to buy
  • update your name, address or nationality by registering again with your new details (if you live in the UK)

There’s a different process to register anonymously, for example if you’re concerned about your safety or the safety of someone in your household.

You can check if you’re already registered to vote by contacting your electoral registration office.

Community Supermarket- Every Thursday

🌿 Join the Green Movement with NewStarts! 🌿

At NewStarts, we’re on a mission to make a real difference for both the planet and our community. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re excited to share some of the ways we’re reducing waste and helping our local environment thrive. 🌎💚

One of our proudest initiatives is our Community Supermarket, which takes place every Thursday between 2pm and 5pm. It’s a chance for YOU to help us save food from going to landfill while grabbing affordable, healthy groceries. 🙌

📍 Where? Our supermarket is open at both our Bromsgrove and New Frankley sites.

Come along and see how much you can save—not just on your food, but also in reducing waste. Every item you choose helps us contribute to a greener, more sustainable future. ♻️💚

Let’s work together to make the planet a little healthier, one food item at a time. See you on Thursday! ✨

New Cycle Routes

We are committed to improving our city’s access to active travel – it helps keep our residents and our environment healthy. To support this, we have created a collection of 13 online maps showing bike and walking friendly routes linking all 69 wards of Birmingham to encourage people to get outside and choose sustainable transport more often.

The routes highlight existing cycle infrastructure, beautiful green spaces, quiet streets, as well as key places of interest (such as the best cafes and toilet stops) and other fab hidden gems across the city. Having these maps will enable you to explore your local area and further afield by bike and foot with confidence.
